Josiah's Journey

Okay, I'm sort of carrying on the story, cuz it stays decent for some time. And cuz I misidentified the prophet guy. They called him Isiah son of Goaz I think. I also think I forgot how to spell.

So, finishing up Hez's life, he had some babylonian visitors who he thought he'd give the grand tour to. So he did. They left, and all was well. Or was it? This prophet guy asks Hez' Who were they?' "Visitors from the distant land of Babylon" 'What did you show them?' "Everything. I showed them everything" 'Well, Many years from now, those people will come and take everything from your country. It'll be pretty bad' But Hez doesn't really mind, Cuz when he is alive, he will be fine, peace times and all. Then he died.

And his son, Manessah (sp?) took over. This guy was pure evil. He redid everything his father undid. And he was reigning for about 55 years too. 55 years of infuriating God. Don't do that. It ain't going to turn out well for you. So God was pretty mad now, and He spoke of how he would make this people of Judah lke those of Israel, who were exiled. So, eventually Ness here dies, and his son takes over.

Two years later he is murdered(this happened a lot with Israel's kings. But the assassinator became king instead of the king's son.) And all the people killed the assassinators, making Josiah, the king's son, into the king. And he was 8 years young. Now, he was doing something with distributing the temple money for repairs and such, something I'm sure another king did before, cuz I remember seeing it, When one of the guys working for Little J found the book of the law. He brought it and read it to our young king, And this distressed our young hero quite a bit. He wept and tore his clothes. Then he sent some people to find out what God was going to do to them, because of all the things that their fathers had done and lead the people to do. And the prophet lady(I think it was a lady) said' God says all this will happen. Judah will be plunged into turmoil, but since you wept and tore your clothes in my presence when you discovered the wrong that had happened, you won't have to see what I will do to these people.' Then Josiah went and pwnd the idols and falseness and everything that the people had been following instead of God. The bronze snake, he destroyed it. He destroyed all the high places, all the asherah poles, all the false prophets, everything dedicated to the false Gods. It was written that he followed the Lord with all his heart and all his soul and with all his strength, just as Moses had commanded. He didn't turn to the right or the left. Quite an amazing kid. He died in a fight with te pharoah of Egypt. And then the kings get bad, and I'm pretty sure God lets Judah become as Israel is. I'll letcha know if there are any other people worthy of mention in this here my blog.

And I'm learning to Drive!! Woot! So if any of you have advice for learning all that cal, leave one here. Greatly appreciated.
