Revival

We are on the brink of something large, maybe like the breaking of a dawn, or maybe like the sinking of a ship, or a candle being lit, let go get some better grip.

Mhmm. Much has happened since my last writing in this place. And much more will happen before my next if there is ever a next. Not here.

But, if you still think blogging is cool, Go to http://nisiry.blogspot.com

It might be something else.

Can you hear this sound?

Hey guys. Starting is the worse part. Once you've started, all the rest just sort of flows. Like a river. It's a river that has some ability to decimate some writers block. But not really. Once you have an idea out there, you strive for it's completion, and usually in the process, more ideas are dropped, bringing more to strive towards. That's why starting is the worse part. There is nothing to complete.

Speaking of complete ( See! It works! ), My time using this device will very soonly be complete. Not like,'Hey, I'm going to go sleep for the night'. More like,'You know, I would be much more productive if things like this didn't take all of my time. So I should forget trying to make restrictions that will be broken, and abandon this waste of time completely'. It has to do with priorities and such. I can be more than this. This is nothing without me, so it doesn't want me to succeed, leaving it behind, so it holds me here. So, I'm cutting the tyes. Ties? I donno. So that I might be able to keep moving forward.

Really, I didn't care about moving forward for a long time. I knew where I was wasn't good enough, but 'What can I do? Oh well', and so it was. But now is a different time, so here we go.

If you read any other kids blogs, you'll discover that a couple fine young gentlemen have put everything they have on sale, showing they don't live for stuff. They live for God. Well, as has been said, One of them challenged me to seek God with everything I have, and, well, I have to do something too. That's not really the reason, but that's what I'll tell you. God has their stuff. I don't have as much stuff really, so I will give God my time. What you serve is your master. This thing is a pathetic master.

I don't like this post. It seems really redundant. I can't finish my blogging with a post I don't like. But I will anyway. I'm pretty sure I've stalled long enough. Three weeks since the last meaningful post? Really, most of that was for stalling. Umm...yeah.

Well. That's it. I know it's a crappy last post, but any ninetyninth post is a bit anticlimactic. So, yup. You don't have to read this anymore. It won't be updated for a long time.

Shameless Advertising...

Hey guys. I tried to give you stuff before, but I deleted it all. It's kind of shocking. Just, suddenly, all gone. After that, I really didn't feel like giving you anything. I didn't really like whatever I wrote anyway. So, yeah.

Sidney is a funny place. I saw an emo kid today. Like, full emo. It made me laugh. And then there is a store going bankrupt. They have all their paper that they definitely didn't get from a giant paper roll taped across their windows, and then have a last desperate plea to get people to show there, shantily scrawled across the paper. I was entertained. Speaking of entertained...

Come see...

It's just more time when you stand on stage in a weird costume and makeup on your face...eww..), Anyway, I shouldn't have put all that in my poster like thing

Shifting of Focus?

Hello friends. Here goes a story.

A while ago...A week ago? Maybe two? Anyways, there was this cool guy over, and before he left, he issued a challenge. To seek God as hard as I could. Sounds good. I was kinda...You know when you aren't really close to God, and you know and feel that, and wish it weren't so, but you don't really do anything? It was like that. So I started trying again. Reading that Bible shaped object. And it was good.

Then I let my older buddy who moved to Edmonton know, cause he wanted to know how I was doing. So I told him. He asked if there were any measurable goals he could help hold me accountable for. I...Didn't. But I told him I would find something. This was about a week agoish? Yeah, I think so.

Time went on, and we came to the last weekend to study before exams. One week of school to go. So I guess these are the fake exams. But fake or not, you still want to do well. That's how it is. So this weekend is my last real chance to study. There is no time left this week. And I wasted my last amount of time doing nothing. Nothing. It pretty much sucks. And I blame this computer. Okay, so maybe I wouldn't have studied anyway, but wasting time means productivity is at a minimal. So, I've got to boycott this. It's funny how the thing I could be kept accountable for is the thing that keeps me in touch with those far away people.

Addictions are hard to break. It's probably a good thing to have happen around now though anyway. As said, there are many exams here now.

I'll be back later yo. Keep fighting the good fight.

Horses should wear belts.

Beat by a girl in knights? Well, I blame my partner, but really, it was my fault too.

So, we were at youth on Friday, because that is what you do on Fridays. Chilling afterwards, I hopped on Josh's back for a second, then off, but he saw Shannon hop on Jon's back, so it was on. Except...Josh is terrible with his pants. You'd think he might possibly find a belt or something. He probably has one, but doesn't tighten it. Who does that?

Anyway, the looseness of his pants meant I wasn't very securely upon his back, he had to multitask (yup, were hosed) and that...umm.. That's pretty much it. So we were kind of falling, and kind of chasing them. I decided it was time to finish it, kind of lunge jumped. Josh kind of didn't hold me. I kind of fell on my right oxcalva. That's probably spelt wrong. It is supposed to be the scientific name for part of your pelvis. Anyway, It hurt. There is cement under the carpet. Yup. I tried walking it off. It didn't work. It really hurt. It's pretty much better now though. Only took about a day to recover.

So, not only was I beaten by a girl in knights, but I was injured for the next day. There goes my self esteem.

Hmm...There was something else I meant to write. But I don't really remember. Apparently my posts are hideously long anyway, so maybe it's better to confine it to one thing at a time.

Yup.

Incarnadine

My ever inconsistent consistency has apparently degenerated with the birth of this infant year. I just like to use big words. Put shortly, I haven't blogged as much. Is that okay guys? Because if it isn't, I'll just go back in time and change it. Yes, I can do that. It's kind of tough to remember what I've told you before and what I haven't. I know when I tell stories, I only have three or so, which leads to me telling and retelling stories already heard. Cool? I think not.

So, that risk site I talk about occasionally, they decided Mike and I are the same person. More like, one guy got suspicious because Mike and I play DOUBLES(the preset team risk thing. It's pretty self explanatory) together a lot. As in, most games. This guy made a thread about it in a forum, so the admin guy is like 'okay, we will block them from playing together'.

Yeah. That sucks.

We find out when we try to have another game. 'you can't play together'. Well, why not? So we go look it up, and attempt to argue that, in fact, Mike and I are two different people. Then, we also email mister admin saying,'dude, let us play together, knobface.' Maybe there wasn't name calling. Mike got an email back. 'Yeah, We'll clear you.' It's been about a week, and we still aren't cleared. It's stupid. I joined a game with the guy that accused us, just so I could beat him. Teams of three though. And he is a terribly higher rank. But...His teammates seem to be falling. I'll give him a reason...Jerk.

Yeup. We also launched some trebuchets today. Too many restrictions, so I didn't do it. Or at least, that was my excuse. Umm...And if anyone is a pro teacher of math 12, I have a week to learn everything inside out, master the mock, and raise my grade crazily, cause whatever I get on the mock potentially replaces my course grade. Sweet, huh? I thought so. It means I can pass the course. Beginning of March guys, there is going to be a most excellent musical taking place, which you should come to. It will be good.

I don't really have anymore stories. So, if you need me, I'll be over there, eager waiting in anticipation for the end of this semester.

Oh, by the way, if anyone knows how to write a decent letter to the government, I could use your assistance.

Three...Two...One...Zero.......

Okay guys. This might be a painful blog, mostly because I'm forcing myself to do this instead of construct another civilization. Which I will do after this anyways. Yeah, I'm cool. Cooler than you. Haha. Who does that?

So, I'm still just as indecisive as ever, which leads to a badly constructed paragraph. Darn. So anyways, we shall back up to the twenty-fifth and catch you right up with my life. Christmas day. Guess what? Our turkey got hosed. So, we had to toss it. I was never crazy about turkey anyway. I am starting to like it more though. Then onwards to find out that everyone gave me chocolate. I like chocolate alright. I guess this is my fault. A few years ago, I figured I would tell people that I wanted something small and I wouldn't mind having a lot of. Yup. That savoring sweet brown stuff. So for the last three Christmases, that's all I got. Yup. My fault, so I'll stop complaining.

The rest of the day was spent at home. Mostly because nobody else could do anything. Cool hey? I love my family, but they were busy. Yup.

Then Boxing day was pretty grand. Reid's family has this annual open house every Boxing Day. There house is open to almost anyone they know, and there is food and lots of stuff. It's probably better to be over 19 too. Before you all go there next year, you should probably ask him first. Yup. I learned how to play poker. Played some Pictionary. Watch some Pirates. Good times.

Wednesday...uhh...Wasn't as memorable. There...uhh...Crap. I can't remember anything before seven. I know I saw or talked to one or more people before seven that day, but it's gone. Then we knit some scarves. Then to monsieur Mcmillan's place for some smash. And smash we did.

Thursday was definitely a halo party. Or maybe just a party. But it was out at Joshes. Then, to a ladies house to learn of killer bunnies, and other such things. Then the return to the party, where we raced it up good. Unfortunately, we didn't race it fast enough to finish before the rides were done. It definitely went past the our the mother said to be home by. Darn. I kind of wanted to walk, but figured out pretty early that it gets me hosed. Mike and I had an excellent walk. And it only took two hours. Yup. And I got hosed. However, the punishment was almost nothing. And mother explained the reason. When she was a little girl (I've never been a girl, so I'm thinking it applies to me less, although she disagrees), her and her friend were walking over to her friend's place for a sleepover. Ahh, the good old sleepovers of childhood, where you actually slept sometimes. So they were walking along, and there was this un..Cultured? Property. There was a rustling coming from it, and they were freaked, so they screamed and booked it, as fast as little girls go. This was around dusk. About a month later, there was a body of a little girl found on that property. The coroner speculated that it had been there for about a month. That's why my 20 year old friend and I can't walk around at 2 in the morning.

Friday. I slept nicely. Walked down to starbucks with mike. Found a yarn store on the way. Got some needles that shouldn't break. That reminds me. Friday morning we definitely went out and delivered the scarves. Sir Shannon was attacking defenseless knitters her a needle, so I pulled my not-broken one out to defend. She hit, with laughable force, and mine broke right off. It was really random. And stupid. Stupid needle. It led to an interesting conversation with the yarn lady. Something like...
Lady: So, here are some 6mm needles
Me: Do they break easily?
Lady: Well, what are you planning to do with them?
Me: Just knit...
Lady *looks at me funny*
Me: Well, see they keep breaking. One just broke in my bag, and the other one got attacked by a friend of mine...

Okay, so it wasn't that interesting. Anyways, off to deliver the scarves. I choked. I just held the scarf I was given close and followed the group around. I gave this guy a candy cane. It had the plastic on it, but the guy started eating it anyway. I tried to help, but he just muttered something and walked away. I'm pretty sure I don't treat those less fortunate as I should. I guess I get scared or something. Nikki was amazing though. Kudos to her.

Mike and I got to starbucks...We didn't really have too much to talk about, as we had just talked about most everything the walk home the night before, and we had slept most of the day (Well, I guess I hadn't, but I didn't really feel like talking about that too much) so we found and schooled some sudoku. Now to create a day to cover the...

*!*!*!*!ALL NIGHTER!*!*!*!*

We will call this day..gaheruda. The day that doesn't end in 'Y'. There were movies, there was foozeball, there was some settlers, and even some pancakes. Food was kind of scarce. And lots of people left early. The guys sleeping room remained mostly untouched. And, there was a two hour dance party. With DJ robocob. The girls definitely all left at some point, leaving it with mostly guys. Josh bagged himself. It was great. Yup. No details for the all nighter for you. I didn't have sleep to refresh the memory maker, and I'm going to keep the rest of the ones I have.

Saturday...I went to future shop, with my gift certificate, and purchased my civilization creator. There was a set that cost 50$, and my gift certificate matched that pretty nicely. It came with a card game too. It's funny cuz THE GAME idea was yoinked from a board game, made computer game, and now it's card game. The original designer got hosed. After shopping, I got home and took a nap. An 8 hour nap. It was an accident. So that was from about 12 to 7, so I guess it was a 7 hour nap. Got up, tried installing some craps, IV didn't work. Fine, I didn't wanna play you anyway. III worked, played that for a bit. Fatal Error. Crap. Guess it is bed time again.

Sunday..Well, I had lots of sleep for church. From noon Saturday till noon Sunday, I was awake 5 hours. Pastor Andrew spoke about...Uh oh. I hope he doesn't still read this. Umm...He told about how God was faithful with Nelia and him. Why did he tell that? It made his point...and his point had two sides...Joshua...Moses and the forty years in the desert...The rebelling against God. It was on new years eve day. The point was about remembering...I think. that was one of his points. Pain fades in memory. Not all of it, but it does fade. Okay, enough trying to remember.

The rest of Sunday I spent at home playing my nerd game. Til about 730 when I grabbed anything I needed , and headed off to Joshua's for an all nighter on New years eve. This one was better. Some of us were dastardly sore for the two hour dance party held the previous all nighter, so we had a no jumping rule. We played some citadels, we raced, we tried out the civs card game, we sort of counted down, we sang the other all nighter party 'merry Christmas'. I don't even know how. We had some smash brothers. We definitely didn't have breakfast. These all nighter things are lacking food. And then host definitely went to sleep. Poop. Got home. Tried to stay up to lessen the amount I would be awake later...'nap' at 330...till 830. Pwned the americans and the aztecs until 2, then went to sleep. And that brings us to today? Yeah, today is tuesday. I did nothing today, and that's why I'm here now. See? Told you I didn't exist!
